1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale and purchase of Gita Gurukul and any related products (collectively, the "Products") offered by Gita Gurukul ("we", "us", "our"), a business based in India, through our website, social media pages, and any other channel through which orders are accepted (collectively, the "Platform"). By placing an order, browsing the Platform, or otherwise using our services, you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform or place an order with us.

2. About Our Products

Our Products are physical diaries, journals, and related stationery items inspired by the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, intended for personal use, reflection, mindfulness practice, and mental and spiritual well-being.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or be using the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order with us.

4. Orders & Acceptance

• All orders placed through the Platform are subject to acceptance and availability of stock.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailability of the Product.
• An order confirmation does not guarantee that the Product will be delivered; it confirms that we have received your order and are processing it.
• You are responsible for providing accurate shipping, contact, and payment information at the time of order.

5. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise, and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout.
• We accept payment through the methods listed on the Platform at checkout (e.g., UPI, cards, net banking, or other payment gateways/partners).
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of order confirmation.
• In case of a pricing or listing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

6. Shipping & Delivery

• Estimated delivery timelines will be communicated at checkout or via order confirmation and may vary based on location and courier partner availability.
• Shipping charges, if any, will be clearly indicated at checkout.
• Risk of loss and title for Products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, incorrect addresses provided by the Customer, or events beyond our reasonable control (see Force Majeure).

7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

• Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting us at gitagurukulm@gmail.com.
• If a Product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence, and we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion.
• Given the personal and stationery nature of the Products, items that have been used, written in, or are not in their original condition may not be eligible for return unless defective.
• Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including the Gita Gurukul name, logo, diary designs, layouts, illustrations, and written content, is the property of Gita Gurukul or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our Products or content without our prior written consent.

Quotations and teachings from the Bhagavad Gita referenced in our Products are drawn from traditional and public-domain sources; our original commentary, layout, design, and compilation remain our intellectual property.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by attempting unauthorized access, submitting false information, or using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

Any reviews, feedback, or content you submit to us may be used by us for promotional or product-improvement purposes, unless you request otherwise.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gita Gurukul shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Products or Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or any outcome related to personal reflection or spiritual practice undertaken using our Products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, courier disruptions, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Platform with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bhubaneswar / Kolkata, India.
